About Bhavana Saluja and SkyWithin
Hello. I’m Bhavana.

I am a psychologist (clinical) and Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner. My therapeutic style is warm and relational, grounded in CI, and draws from somatic therapy, Hakomi-informed mindfulness, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems, and other evidence-based psychological approaches to support you in understanding yourself and reconnecting with who you are.
My journey into psychology began with a personal crisis that led me to question the nature of human suffering and the patterns that shape our lives. I found myself asking: Why are things unfolding this way? What drives our behavior? How might I be contributing to my own suffering?
Those questions became the beginning of a search for understanding trauma, adaptation, and healing. Eventually, that led me back to university in my 40s, where I completed my MS in Clinical Psychology and began a deeper journey of my own healing.

Before becoming a practitioner, I spent over 20 years leading marketing for global technology organizations. Having lived & worked in high-pressure environments, I understand what it can cost to be endlessly capable and to keep achieving while slowly losing touch with ourselves. That lived experience helps me meet people with humility, presence, curiosity, and genuine respect for each person's story.
Alongside my practice, I serve on the Board of Directors at the Coleen Cunningham Foundation, supporting awareness & research for Atypical Parkinsonism. I am also an artist, writer, and creative thinker. Creativity is part of how I make sense of life - and how I listen, reflect and hold space for others.
And outside the therapy room, I'm happiest in the quieter, ordinary parts of life. Slow mornings with coffee. Walks with my fur baby Skye. Music that makes me feel. Running and discovering old, unfamiliar places. I love reading several books at the same time, and tracing the story behind a piece of art. Sharing a long conversation and a good laugh with people I love. And those little moments of stillness when I can just be.
